Rasmey Sam, Founder and Executive Director
Rasmey Sam, founder of the Asian American Resource Center is known for his unrelenting efforts and dedication to improve the health and well-being of the Asian American communities throughout the Inland Empire. Rasmey Sam, a Cambodian refugee himself, fled his country to escape persecution and torture from the communist Khmer Rouge regime. His passion and committment to serve and improve the quality of life among Asian-American families and those from other ethnic groups, has led to the flexible but uniformed method of delivering a variety of free services to residents of the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
It has been more than 20 years since the beginning of Rasmey's mission to improve educational, mental and physical health and well-being of these communities.
